Hello, my name is Marianna, and I am a children’s book illustrator based in Athens, Greece.
As long as I can remember, I’ve been drawing everywhere. Children’s books represent a bright path, a way to hold and escape into magical moments and worlds. Every time I create art, it feels unique and magical.

I studied sketching, comic/cartoon art, and illustration at Athens Design College AKTO, where I later specialized in children’s book illustration.
To date, I have illustrated more than 30 books. Some of my collaborations include Metaixmio, Kalendis, and Ellinoekdotiki publications.

I’m a bookworm, a nature and animal lover, and an embroidery and photography enthusiast. I’m also a movie, series nerd, and gamer. I live in a warm, old house with a garden, shared with my furry friend “Cookie” and many other pets.

EXHIBITIONS:

• In 2023, I participated in an illustration exhibition at Metaixmio in collaboration with Illustradays, titled “A Picture, A Memory,” celebrating 30 years of the publisher.
• In January 2016 Participation in a painting exhibition at the Municipal Gallery Piraeus of Athens.
